Creative Film Company
Redfir is a film company and a creative collective born from a union of filmmakers, directors, dp’s and graphic designers with a common purpose: telling stories. Based in Milan, our aim is to help brands producing contents with a close attention to research and a non stop analysis about new visual languages. Even if our workflow is always the same it keeps changing everytime. We talk to the client, we understand his needs, we develop an idea, a story and we produce it. Our focus are clients. We produce a wide range of different types of content including short films, advertising and commercials, documentaries, event recaps and live performances in the fashion, music, sport and outdoor world.
Our method
- Development of the idea
- On each and every project we talk to the client, we understand his needs and we develop an idea and a story. There is a constant research on new visual languages and new ways to produce high quality contents.
- Treatment and script
- Once the idea is approved we move straight into the project. We make a treatment, we work on a script and we design a storyboard. The film starts to take shape.
- Building the team
- Every project is different so we built our teams according to creativity, technical aspects and budget as well. We work with big teams for the big projects but we can also propose filmmakers to do the easiest stuff.
- Shooting
- The pre-production is done and we are on set. Directors, dp’s, camera assistants, gaffers and producers show up on location. We collect and archive the footage to be ready for the post-production.
- Post-production
- We review the footage and we start editing. It’s here that we finally built our story. With the approval from the client we start the color grading, visual effects, we work on the sound and we deliver it.
